Tell us about your Jungle Experience.
As a reality show, very tough. We got so little to eat. And if we won the stars by winning ,then we were supplemented with some extra food. And the incessant rains. God! Did they just like that? No! They brought with them all the creepy crawly things. It was very tough.

How is this experience different from Bigg Boss?
Bigg Boss was full of mind games and politics. It was a show where they used boredom to test you. There you got the basic necessities but not the luxuries and are completely cut off from the outside world. Whereas, in the jungle you got to speak to Yudi and Mini when you went to perform the maha jungle task. It was sort of a breather. So while Iss Jungle was easy on the mind, Bigg Boss was easy on the body.

Apparently, you have also worked in a film titled Jungle, for which you had to shoot in the jungles of India. So how was this experience different?
The film's shooting was very easy. We used to get proper food. I used to look like a junglee but I used to smell nice because I had perfume on. Here, you're not even allowed that. In the film due to make-up my hair used to stand that way. Here they were like that naturally because you can't use any toiletries. So you know, this was the 'real' jungle.

According to you who is or was the most sensible contestant on the show?
Umm… Aman Verma.

Who do you think should win the contest?
At first I wanted Marc to win. But then he got eliminated. So I wanted Aman to win. But now, out of the remaining junglees, I think Mona is the best contestant to win.

What controversies did you witness when in the camp?
I saw that Aakashh tries to boss over everyone. He is always jumping up and down to become a leader. And when he doesn't become one he gets very upset. But he did not mess with me because he is scared of me. And who is not? Chetan used to follow Aakashh blindly. He is a very good boy but somehow somewhere he has played accomplice to a lot of misdoings, basically because he was with him. I was really rooting for Chetan to win until I saw how he supported Aakashh in his every mischief.

Anaida was very irritating, like one of those unmarried aunties in the family who pokes her nose over every matter and going- beta yeh kya pehna hai?(child what is this that you are wearing?). She was insanely frustrating.

Mona is good, she is handling the game well. She is the one who has to know about what everyone is up to. If Mona is singing that means she is actually attentive to something else and because she did not want people to know it, she distracted them by singing.

Aman has his own way of handling the game. He used silence as his weapon. But a good sport.

Jay gets very badly treated over there. They all beat him up sometimes. They call him Gay, Gay Sean. And Jay quietly listens to them and even laughs with them. Jay even does all the work and Chetan and Aakashh stand on either side of him like Mugambo and Gabbar Singh. So I have told Jay that when he comes out he will be known as Jayanti. In the camp even girls are stronger than him! You know I had this nice image of Jay because he used to host Dance India Dance so smartly. But now it's totally down as I've found he is a wimp.

What would you like to say about the show?
It's a brilliant show. One which you can't take easily. It is the mother of all reality shows.

When will you and Krishna tie the knot?
(Laughs) I don't know. I can't even answer it because Krishna's daddy is the one who can answer it. We are waiting for his approval to tie the knot. The minute he says yes, we will do it. But its for sure that we will have our wedding in a grand way. We will not elope and get married.

Iss Jungle bids adieu to...

As we move closer to the Grand Finale of Sony's Iss Jungle, yet another contestant bows out of the contest tonight.

The last of the wild card entrants remaining in the camp of Sony's Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, Jay Bhanushali is the latest to pack his bags and leave the show.

According to our source, "After the twin eliminations of Marc and Aman and of course not to forget, the staged walk-out of Kashmera Shah last week, the contest had gotten fierce with just five contestants remaining. And tonight's episode will see the chocolate boy Jay Bhanushali bowing out, as he was the one who got the least junta votes. Along with him, Akashh and Mona were present in the danger zone, but had a narrow escape courtesy more votes when compared to Jay".

"The elimination was purely based on the fact that Jay got the least votes amongst the remaining contestants; there was no Maha Jungle task given to the bottom two contestants this week", adds our source.

This leaves the show with the Top Four – Akashhdeep, Chetan Hansraj, Anaida and Mona Vasu.

As we get closer to the Grand Finale to be held on September 4th, we will be seeing one more elimination happening this week, which will decide the three finalists of the show!!

Aman Verma kicked out of the jungle

This time the luck did not favour the mastermind of the jungle. Well, we are talking about none other than Aman Verma, who bids final adieu to the Malaysian Jungle. He lost to Mona Wasu in the Maha Jungle task.

“Mona was the one who got the least audience vote. She was given two choices of either fighting with Anaida or Aman, she chose the latter to contend with, and proved herself worthy to be in the jungle,” chirps the little birdie from the jungle.


Mona had been a tough contender all through her journey in the jungle. “She, most of the time had proved herself and thus, is in the final top position with Chetan, Aakash, Anaida and Jay,” adds the source.

The excitement is building up, as it is interesting to see who takes the crown of King and Queen in the finale of the Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao episode.

Iss Jungle gets its Top Five contestants.

Sony's Iss Jungle will see yet another elimination tonight, and with that the show gets its tp five contestants...


After the surprise elimination of Marc and the planned walkout by Kashmera Shah, we get to yet another Friday which will see one more contestant bowing out of Sony's Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao.

"Aman Verma who has been mastering the Maha Jungle tasks every time he reached the bottom two, could not succeed this time, and exits the show. Along with him was present Mona Vasu in the danger zone, but Mona got the better of Aman in the Maha Jungle Challenge".

"Mona has always been a tough competitor and has done some daring tasks before, and this result was fair enough", adds our source.

This elimination leaves us with the top five contestants, Akashhdeep, Chetan Hansraj, Mona Vasu, Anaida and Jay Bhanushali.

With the Grand Finale to be held on September 5th, wonder who the lucky three finalists will be, who fight it out in the Final task to be judged the 'King' or 'Queen' of the jungles…

Kashmera to quit 'Jungle'

One expected a lot of plotting, scheming and ganging up after Kashmera Shah entered 'Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao'. And just as she began to show her mean side, we hear that Shah has walked out of the show.

Apparently, she was disappointed by the regular nagging and petty feuds of the contestants and thus she decided to quit the show.

A source informs, "Currently tempers are flaring in the jungle over petty things. The contestants are not getting along with each other and they blow a fuse every now and then. Recently Chetan Hansraj and Anaida almost came to blows after which Kashmera decided to voluntarily exit the show. But one is not really relying on this theory as Kashmera is a tough girl and will not succumb to such pressures. Infact, she will leave no stone unturned to humiliate you if you rub her wrong side. So it seems strange that she decided to quit the show on a squabble in which she wasn't even involved."

"The popular theory doing the rounds is that the entire move was pre-planned. Apparently, the decision makers had planned to bring in Shah to stir up some controversies which would in turn better TRPs. Her quantum of stay was pre-planned and she was aware that would not make it to the finale. Other contestants, who initially didn't know that it was pre-planned, expressed their displeasure", concludes our source.

Going by the number of walk outs the show will ink a history of sorts. To the uninitiated, almost all the contestants had decided to walk out of the show stating that they were deprived of the basic amenities. Later Shweta Tiwari staged a walk- out only to return in a few hours and Jay Bhanushali too had threatened to quit the show.

Over and out for Marc Robinson

Unarguably, one of the last standing celebrities in the Malaysian rain forest, Marc Robinson, lost his opportunity to make it to the finale of Sony’s Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, in a surprise elimination that started on Monday, and is expected to continue till the last day of the show.

Robinson and Anaida had the least votes and had to fight it out in the maha jungle challenge to survive. Robinson lost out because it was a physically gruelling task and his back gave away.

“I had thought that in the last stages of the contest, I’ll take a shot in the back every day like I did every week throughout the contest to keep it going and pull off the tasks. But my back didn’t support me. Never mind. I have lost eight kilos and gone through a complete detoxification process. So I only gained out of my stay there,” says Robinson, adding that he’s come out a different person altogether.

Ask him if he’d miss his jungle mates, and Robinson says, “Not really! I’m happier to come out of that place. I’m going to be with my kids and wife very soon. Actually, I’m missing the openness, the thundershowers, the sound of the rapids and the insects. It took me a day to believe that I was surrounded by good food and had a nice bed to sleep on.”
He adds that he stayed on coffee and tea for the first day when he came out of the jungle.
Quiz him about his Mr Know-It-All-Status and he says, “I didn’t comment about anyone, whether it’s Mona (Vasu) or Aakash (Saigal) with a malicious intention. It was all in a light vein. Why would I offend people whom I’ll bump into every second day after the show’s over?”

When asked about Negar Khan and Shweta Tiwari’s early exits from the show, for what seemed like a TRP-gaining stunt, Robinson defends, “Negar was eliminated from the game because she didn’t get votes. Shweta had been missing her daughter from day one. She walked out when she couldn’t take the game further. As for us walking out, there were lots of things out of order, which fell into place ASAP after that incident.”

But he doesn’t get defensive of the fact that the TRPs of the show have been extremely low throughout the season. He argues that the ratings couldn’t have been higher than what they are. He reasons, “Our show airs at 10 pm which is dinnertime in most households. Obviously, they wouldn’t be able to watch us chewing roasted rats and scorpions and gulping grasshopper juice. Plus, the international seasons are three-week-long. Ours is running into eight weeks. So, there’s only so much the show can give.”

Jungle scares off nimble feet Chitrashi Rawat

After creating a stir in the much watched reality show, ‘Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao’, Chitrashi Rawat has been shown the door owing to her dud performance in the jungle challenge. The starlet who had made a wild card entry lost to the dimpled hunk Jay Bhanushali.

Talking about her mean defeat, Chitrashi told a news daily, “When I saw the task involved water, I knew I wouldn’t make it, I am hydrophobic.” As for her opponent Jay, she said, “He is an underdog, he has proved it to the campmates that he is capable of taking on any tasks and emerge a winner.”

Even though the little nimble feet lost the battle she has no regrets about participating in the show.

Speaking about the jungle experience, she says “It was one of the best experiences of my life; I have always been an adventurous person and the idea of living in the jungle, performing tasks, cooking and doing everything by ourselves... was exciting. I am going to miss every single one of my camp mates. I wish I could have stayed for longer. If the task did not involve water, I would have probably won. I will miss everyone. All the celebrities are great. Except for the fight over food which upset me, I had a great time.”

And ask her about the winner of the show and she diplomatically states, “I hit it off with Jay so I would want him but I think he will be next to get eliminated. I think the winner would be between Chetan, Anaida and Mona.”

'Iss Jungle se Mujhe Bachao is very real'

Says Chak De girl Chitrashi Rawat, as she recalls her adventurous days spent in the reality television show

Think of Shah Rukh Khan's Chak De! India and you can't help but recall mini dynamite Komal Chautala, the Haryanavi chhori essayed to perfection by actor Chitrashi Rawat.

After the success of Chak De, the former national hockey player moved on to Madhur Bhandarkar's Fashion, where she played a fashion coordinator with much ease, followed by Luck.

But the last few weeks saw the young actor from Dehradun surviving in the jungles of Malaysia as part of the reality show Iss Jungle se Mujhe Bachao. She was evicted from the show this Friday and is home relaxing. She speaks about the real parts of the reality show, love and life.

How was jungle life?

It was fantastic. I loved every day and enjoyed my stint completely. I always wanted to do something related to adventure. I was even invited to participate in Fear Factor season one but I didn't have the time to spare, so I couldn't be a part of it. When I got a call from this show, I knew I had to say yes.

I was supposed to enter the show from the first episode but my dates clashed again and finally I was brought in as a wild card entry. I loved the attention I got from the other contestants.

You lost to contestant Jay Bhanushali in the Maha Jungle Challenge.

I have always feared water and when I saw that the challenge involved water, I knew I would lose it. I wanted to give up but went ahead because I have never given up in my life.

But reality shows are also controversial and allegedly stage-managed. How much reality was shown in Iss Jungle...?

It is as real as it can get. They add some masala for high TRPs but that's absolutely fine.

Are you in touch with other actors from Chak De?

Of course, I am in regular touch with Shilpa (Shilpa Shukla), Vidya (Vidya Malvade) and Tania (Tania Abrol). We are like family and our friendship is forever.

Interestingly, not many are aware of your love life.

I am in a relationship for the past two years. His name is Honey Juneja and he is a business management graduate and is in London. I met him when I returned to Dehradun after shooting Chak De. He too is from Dehradun. Our long distance relationship is working out quite well as we give each other enough personal space.

He has supported my decisions. We compensate for the distance between us by talking on the phone and chatting online.

Interestingly, he is the first guy I have dated because I always wanted to get into a strong relationship.

What's next?

Right now I am relaxing at home. Next you will see me in a comedy movie called Don't Worry, Be Happy. I am playing actor Rajpal Yadav's daughter and Vinay Pathak plays my father-in-law.

Kashmera Shah scared of ghosts!

Kashmera is very scared of ghosts, she confessed on Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao while narrating an incident on her first fashion show. It was one night when she was staying alone in a Hotel room.

It so happened that while watching TV she dozed off without switching the lights and television off. However, when she woke up suddenly in the middle of the night, she could see that everything was switched off. Petrified with what happened, she screamed, “Who switched off the lights?” and the lights came on.

Almost on the verge of a nervous break down, Kashmira just tucked her head into the bed and tried to sleep, but woke up in a while and found the television on. She felt eerie, as though someone was listening to her! Till date she has not forgotten this incident and feels every hotel is haunted!

Fiza cashes on Iss Jungle fame

Her exit from “Iss jungle se mujhe bachao’ does not mean that she is out of people’s mind. Cause there is lot more of her coming in soon. Filmmakers and tele-producers are constantly persuading her with a role or a part in their projects. “I have got a film offer, but I am still mulling over it whether to do it or not. There are also few reality shows
coming in, but let’s see whether I take up, as I am looking forward to politics,” she informs.

She got the celebrity status while she was grieving in media about her dramatic separation with her politician-husband Chand, but her stint in “Iss jungle se mujhe bachao’ brought her sharp ability-to-deliver-dialogues flawlessly to people’s notice. Apparently Producers are now looking forward to capitalize on her real image on reel!

Another girl out of the Jungle

This weekend Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao will see another girl bidding adieu to the show. It is none other than the wild card entrant Chitrakshi Rawat of Luck fame! The cute and bubbly girl lost to her good friend Jay Bhanushali.

“Today Chitrakshi bids goodbye to the audience in the show. It was a sad moment for everyone, as she gelled well with other contestants too,” chirps the birdie from the jungle.

Talking about her task in the show our source adds, “In the finale task she failed to perform well making her position weak in the show. This benefited Jay, and saved him from getting eliminated from the jungle for a second time.”

The bubbly actress made many friends in the jungle, but she also made a few foes. Well this jungle has opened many doors for the little actress. So let’s wait and watch who will be the next in the line to go out of the jungle.

Already the contestants of Sony Entertainment Television's Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao are facing a tough time as they have got to live in primitive conditions. And now poor chap Marc Robinson's woes have only gotten doubled.

According to our source, "Marc Robinson had a very bad fall while climbing down the staircase that's outside the loo. His condition was so serious that he had to be airlifted and taken to the nearest hospital in Jerantut. The doctors there have advised him complete bed rest for three days. But Marc is not needed to stay in the hospital, just take his medications properly."

It seems that Marc has always had a problematic back. Says our source, "Marc's back has been giving him trouble on and off. I don't think many know, but this is the reason why Aakashh chose him to share the luxury when he won Jannat." The source further adds, "With this fall Marc's back has taken a very big toll."

Iss Jungle is Kashmera’s love test

Kashmera Shah reveals she took the plunge to be a part of Sony TV’s Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao to prove the strength of her relationship with boyfriend Krushna.

Kashmera Shah is one of the controversy stirrers of our country. So it's obvious her entry in Sony TV's Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao is not going to be void of any either.

During one of her chitchat sessions with fellow jungle mates Marc, Chetan and Jay, Kashmera revealed how she proposed to Krishna ins pite of being married to somebody in the US. She said, "During Bigg Boss I had confessed on national television that I was in love with Krushna even though I wasn't really sure of my feelings. Just as soon as I was out of Bigg Boss's house the divorce papers arrived from the US."

She was on a heart pouring spree as she went on to say, "Krishna and I have been living together for 3 years and are madly in love with each other but his family doesn't support our relationship. His family keeps telling me that they would get him married to some girl when she is in the jungle."

She further adds, "I precisely came to this show to prove how strong our relationship is and I strongly believe that he is is mine."

Testing times for Aakashh

Aakashh Deep, who is known for his care-a-damn attitude on the show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, faced a weird situation recently. Aakashh has talked about almost everything on the show, but has cleverly evaded Mika Singh whenever he probed him on his alleged relationship with Farah Khan. However, this time around, Aakashh decided to clear the air once and for all. When Mika asked Aakashh if his relationship with Farah was true or if he had done it to give a boost to his career, Aakashh said that he and Farah were indeed seeing each other at that time. He met Farah during his modelling days and eventually they fell in love. He even went to the extent of mentioning the 12-year age gap between them.

Chitrashi’s fan-tastic experiences!

The latest entrant on the adventure-reality show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao is Chak De! girl Chitrashi Rawat. The girl has been bonding big time with the three men Jay Bhanushali, Aman Verma and Mika Singh on the show. It was gossip time for everyone on the show and while all were casually chatting,Chitrashi also spoke about her so called celebrity status. According to her, every time she went out, her fans would immediately recognise her. Even when she wore sunglasses and covered her face she would be hounded. Mika was quick to retort and asked her if they knew her by her real name Chitrashi, to which she replied “Pehle toh sab Chak De wali bolte the… but now after my new film Luck I am shortcut!” Chitrashi said that a crazy, atrocious fan also went out of his way to talk to her. She claimed that after Chak De! India relased, she would constantly get calls from fans all over the country. People would call her in a hope of being friends with her. But this story about a guy who had shelled out Rs 5,000 to just get her number was hard to believe!

Kashmira Shah enters Iss Jungle

The channel and the production House are on their toes to keep the TRP’s high of the show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. Thus now they have planned to bring another sensational actress to boost the views of the show. “Yes it’s true, as the actress kashmira shah will be entering the show coming Thursday,” chirps our little birdie.

When asked of the reason for her sudden entry our source adds, “We have seen that in the last few episodes there had been ouster of females like negar khan, while Shweta Tiwari walked out. This was bringing down the TRP’s as there were no Masala that could attracts the audience, thus the channel took this decision in a hush-hush meeting.”


“Though after the entry of Mika, Jay and Chitrakshi there weren’t suppose to be a new entrant, but Kashmira got an entry as the channel is very sure about her personality, and she can hold the viewers,” concludes the source. So again there will be a lot of hissing in the jungle with the entry of the vivacious actress.

There is a storm in the jungle... we are referring to the hot and sizzling Kashmera Shah... well you can love her, hate her but can’t ignore her!


She's taken the challenge to put the boys of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao in their place and unmask the politically correct faces in the show!

She makes an entry in the show... and in her words she is looking forward to “a lot of mosquito and snake bites...” Her reason for taking up the show when it’s reached its last leg was, “I am a huge fan of the American version and have seen the show before. As a celebrity this is far more challenging to do and I love experimenting with my work. But it’s very difficult for a person to enter in right now as a wild card entrant because the other contestants have already spent many weeks; they are attached to each other, acquainted with the situations and living conditions..."

She says, "For me, it's going to be tougher to makes space there. The smallest of things can piss me off and I can get very possessive even though in real life I am not like that. I am very straight-forward and I don't like people talking behind my back... If I get to know that there’s something going on then they there is going to be trouble!"

Ask Kashmera if she will be okay eating soya beans and chawal and she snapped back with “Of course not... I am not going to let anybody stay in peace if any contestant doesn’t perform and gets the required stars for our food. I am a celebrity and I love my food... If my team does not win I am not going to be happy at all and I won’t let anyone be happy!”

Talking about the contestants she said “They are all very hardworking... I see the girls doing a lot of work as compared to the boys. I am not going to be working and nobody can order me around. Some of them are not what they really are... I will wait for their masks to come off. Some of them are really nice and its going to be a lot of fun... to rock someone’s boat! Mika has just got saved... he can thank his stars and should be happy that I am entering the jungle now... because I would have made him cry... I really wished he was in.”

Mika: Boys gossiped more in Jungle

Controversy’s favorite child Mika Singh is eliminated from Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao! Mika who entered the show two weeks ago is on his way back now ... Incidentally, when Mika came to know that Jay and he were in the bottom two and had to face the Maha Jungle Challenge ... he decided to quit and requested to leave the show so that Jay could get another chance to stay in the jungle.

But since this was against the rules of the show, Mika had to take the challenge head on but finally lost out to Jay ... he shares his experience and opinions about the contestants in Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao!

How was your experience in the jungle?

My friends had kept a bet that I wouldn't last more than 3-4 days in the jungle. They told me I would fight with everyone since the living conditions are quite difficult. But I loved the jungle experience. It has made me realise how I can live life without the help of any entertainment. Inspite of living a luxurious life and having four hatte khatte (strong) bodyguards, I lived in the jungle without an A/C or a fan. I cooked food, lit fires, guarded fire giving up a night's sleep, shared the same bathroom that eight others used. I would bathe in the open and above all ate breakfast on time which I never did in my life.

Why did you call it quits from Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao?

I see Jay as my younger brother. I had promised in the very beginning that I would never fight against Jay or Chitrashi. I like to keep my word. I had my adventure for 14 days and I am very happy with the experience. Other people in the jungle need to stay back in the jungle for various reasons ... for money, popularity, visibility etc. They all deserve to stay. But if it was anybody else against me, I would have fought ... I would have wanted to fight. Haar kisi ko pasand nahi hai na...

Do you think people now know the real Mika through IJSMB?

Yes. I am a simple man. When everybody heard about my entry they thought there would be fights and controversies but none of those happened. I was just what I am in real life. In little time, I made friends and also became the jungle's leader. I tried my best to keep my calm too. Aman and Akashh never liked each other. But since the time I entered I made sure I spoke well about Aman to Akashh and vice versa. Now both of them are comfortable with each other.

What do you think of the contestants — any favourites or rivals?

I got along well with everybody and they all liked me too. I kept them entertained through my music. Music is very important. With me coming on the show, they got a colourful life. Mona is a sweet girl, no matter how much work you give her she would be ready to do it. Anaida was very moody. Marc also had a back problem but still he would do his work. Chetan is a 6 feet 3 inch tall little baby. He is still a child at heart but overgrown in size. He used to call me “Mickey Mickey” ... he’s too good, a very enthusiastic and unique character. Akashh too was good. People think he would be someone who would get angry anytime but he’s a sweet guy. He thinks he is the only one who would work in the camp and nobody else does any work ... (laughs). Chitrashi is a sweet girl. We entered the camp together so we hit it off immediately.

What about your fight with Chitrashi?

Chitrashi is nice but I guess she took me very lightly. When I would assign her any work, she would refuse to do it. If Marc assigned her the same work, she would take it up instantly. I didn’t like that attitude. She is very childish and I had to make her understand to stay in limits. The fight I had with her was a small one and after that everything was normal.

Who according to you is the weakest in the jungle?

We three were the weakest links — Jay, Chitrashi and I. All the other contestants are very strong and have the attitude to stay in the jungle. For Chitrashi it’s like an outing, a picnic, she has come here for fun.

Who should win the show?

Chetan. He is the most deserving among all. Akashh is good at physical tasks and Marc at eating. Chetan is a mixture of both. He has the capability of doing all the tasks well. I think he should win the show. I fully support Chetan!

Anything that has surprised you about the contestants?

I have seen girls gossiping. But after coming here I was shocked to see the boys — Chetan, Marc and Akashh gossip too. Out of the 24 hours, they would be gossiping for 16 hours. Every night they would gossip for three hours. And nothing major to talk about but just in general and they would speak real fast ... chatter chatter ... if they are not gossiping ... then they would use sign language. Yeh three characters hai hamare show ke...But Aman is very smart; he knows everything about everybody, their weaknesses, strengths etc... he is the smartest chap there.

Will you miss the jungle?

Mein toh miss karunga hi par I think the people there will miss me the more. My presence will be missed. There is nothing in the jungle; it’s very difficult to survive. I think if I was given good food for six months then I could survive that long. I need good food for survival.

Marc, Chetan and Akashh the three best friends of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao always had a soft corner for Mona Vasu. They considered Mona as one of the boys and liked her company. But all this changed on one rainy day over nothing but a meager meal.

The pouring rain would hamper the campfire, so Marc requested for some cooked food to be sent since the lunch Anaida was cooking was not completely prepared. But all others except Marc, Chetan and Akashh took a few bites of the meal Anaida had cooked. And when the cooked food was sent, the others came running to eat it. All of them were happy to have eaten some good food, but also complimented Anaida’s preparation.

When the rains stopped, Marc, Chetan and Akashh realised that the food prepared in the camp was less as others had eaten without their knowledge, which led to an ugly argument. Anaida defended the situation by pointing out that she had asked Marc thrice if they don’t want the food she had prepared and that Marc didn’t bother since they were going to get cooked food.

The whole issue left a bad taste in Mona’s mouth as the three men accused her of cheating them in spite of being their friend. Mona was very upset, as she could not believe that her friends would question her integrity. The three men were in such a foul mood, that they refused to eat any dinner in spite of everyone requesting them to. Aakashh, Chetan and Marc now think that Mona is two faced and have decided to boycott her; they said, "Whenever we have our private talks, we will request her to move away from us."

When Delhi guy Mika joined the TV show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao (from which he was recently eliminated), nobody knew that his farmhouse in Gurgaon had inspired him to take on the show.

And now that he’s out, he says that he wants to give his farmhouse a jungle-like feel. He said, “I was thrilled about the show’s concept, as I wanted to give a jungle-type feel to my farmhouse, which is situated in a jungle near Dum Dum Lake in Gurgaon.” So, what’s he planning to do, keep some slimy creatures as pets there? “I would like to have such tasks for my friends. It would be fun. And I’ll be the shehanshah of this jungle,” he said.

And he added that it wasn’t due to his inability to perform the task that he got ousted from the show. “I didn’t perform because I wanted Jay to win. Had I been pitted against – Akash, Chetan, Aman, Mark – contestants of my level, I would’ve given them tough competition,” he said. And if he so wanted Jai to win, why did he pull his pants down on national television? “Woh toh aam baat hai. He said nasty things to me too,” he retorted.

Jay defeats Mika to stay put in 'Iss Jungle'

Now it’s known to all that Jay Bhanushali and Mika aren’t the best of pals on 'Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao'.

Infact, Mika has enraged Jay so much that he had almost quit the show. Known for showering ultra attention on the barely-clad Negar Khan, Mika invited Jay's animosity after he pulled down his pants infront of all the participants. Jay didn't mince words as he voiced his displeasure. And as luck would have it, Jay was pitted against Mika in the final show-down which decides who amongst the two contestants will leave the jungle.

Informs our source, "Jay and Mika were pitted against each other and one had to beat the other to stay back in the show. The task was to take out serpents from the holes and Jay beat Mika at the task. He emerged winner and this marked the end of the road for Mika. This weekend viewers will also see the contestants celebrate janmashtami. There will also be the popular ritual of breaking of dahi - handi, which will be performed by the zealous contestants."

Well post Mika's eviction the final list boils down to eight contestants namely Anaida, Chetan Hansraj, Akashdeep Saigal, Jay Bhanushali, Chitrashi, Aman Yatan Verma, Marc Robinson and Mona Vasu.

Mika eliminated from Iss Jungle

Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao is all geared up for yet another elimination and this time its one of the wild card entrant who bids adieu to the audience. It’s the singer and controversial Mika saying goodbye to the show. “In the task Mika had to face Jay Bhanushali, and it seems lady luck shined bright on Jay making him the winner and Mika was shown the door,” says the source.

Elaborating on the eviction of the show our source adds, “Jay and Mika had a tiff in a recent episode. Also, Mika was getting very abusive with his co-contestants, due to that he got fewer votes and at the end his fate got him out of the show.”


“Not only Jay, but other contestants were also wishing for the ouster of the singer as he was just getting on their nerves. The way he was getting close to Negar was also cheap and his behaviour towards Chitrakshi and other male friends was getting worst day by day. Even in the task it was seen that he did not give his best,” concludes the source. Jay ki murad hui puri with the ouster of Mika. It seems like everyone on Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bacaho loves to take Jay’s case. When Jay had entered the camp, he had confessed during an activity that he had never kissed a girl.

The know-it-all Marc, then advised Jay on how he should loosen up once he goes back home. Aakashh and Mona however kept arguing on whether Jay had ever been kissed or kissed.

While Aakashh said that Jay had… Mona insisted that Jay himself had admitted to not even kissing a girl. Finally the man in question spoke up and said that he never said that he had not kissed a girl. So after all the discussion and argument, we still do not know if he has done it or not.

Mika: Why no underpants, Jay?

Mika is turning out to be the bad boy on reality TV show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. After he lost a singing-based Jungle competition named ‘Jungle Idol’ with non-singer Chitrashi, he was seen fuming, blaming unfair judgement.

But this is not the hottest piece of controversy for the day. Mika, in an effort to cheer up the sulking Jay (after he received a touching letter from his family), did the unexpected. While Jay was busy with the jungle’s daily tasks, Mika pulled down his pants. Jay didn’t take it too well and lashed out at Mika.

Though Mika apologized, but knowing him, he did not stop there. He started making fun of Jay for not wearing his underpants. And that was not all, he even said that with three women around him, he should not be roaming around sans the 'basics'. This had everyone in splits but Jay went straight to the confession room and said he didn't want to be around them, else the situation would turn even uglier.

We all know that Mika and controversies go hand in hand!! However, the shocker that he sprung on our dear chocolate boy Jay Bhanushali in the jungles of Malaysia broke all past records!!

According to our source, "The guys were casually chatting away in the night, when suddenly Mika got near Jay and pulled his pants down!! A shocked and angry Jay could not believe what happened to him in the midst of boys and girls. Mika went a step further, booed and laughed at Jay, only to be given company by other contestants".

However, this action of Mika shook Jay so much that he walked away in a hurry to leave with his bags. A source tells us, "Jay is extremely pissed off, and wants to walk out of the show. The entire scene was very embarrassing for him, as he had not even worn his under pants when this sequence happened. Jay was heard telling Mika that he respects him, but he needs to stay within his limits. The officials are actually convincing Jay to stay on, but nothing is clear right now!!".

We will now have to wait and see whether Jay makes up his mind to walk out just like Shweta Tiwari did, or will stay put to fight yet another day in the jungle!!

But wonder what made Mika take this insane step, probably this is one more way to gain publicity?

Iss Jungle Ke Falling TRP Ko Bachao

Last week Negar Khan was voted out of Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. Before this the glam bahu of Indian television , Shweta Tiwari walked out of the show. Due to the ouster of these two hot contestants, the show may see a downfall in the TRPs. Our source from the production house chirps, “The reason for getting Shweta on the show was her vivid personality, and her fan following. By donning a bikini and having a shower on national TV, she got us more eyeballs. As she walked out, to fill in the glam quotient Negar was brought in.”

“Negar’s entry boosts the TRPs, as well as controversies of her closeness with Aakashdeep but it seems she could not get the hold of her female audience, due to which, she got the least votes. Even on the final day of the verdict, she competed with Aman but failed in the task. With her going out of the show there is a danger when it comes to the TRPs,” adds the source.


Audience liked Negar and Shweta very much. “They were the glamour quotient of our show and made lots of hiss and buzz in the jungle, which was a good strategy for us as we got lot of audience, but now that they are not in the show, the TRPs may dip. After the three wild card entrant, Jay, Chtirakshi and Mika there are less chances of any other celeb coming in,” states our khabroo.

“The channel and production are contemplating on how not to lose their audience, and what kind of entertainment they can get out from the celebs in the jungle,” concludes the source. Let’s see what is stored in the fate of the celebs in this jungle.

Negar Khan ‘jungle’ safari is over

The mercury was rising ever since she entered the show ‘Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao’, but what an unexpected exit? Negar Khan was voted out even before she could complete her second week in the reality show.

The drama had a perfect setting when Negar, who received the minimum numbers of votes from the people, was given the power to select anyone to compete against in the Maha Jungle challenge. The condition was if she is able to beat that contestant, then she can earn immunity for herself. She, challenged Mona Vasu, which led to a round of heated arguments amongst the fellow participants, so finally she had to compete against Aman Verma.

In the Maha Jungle round, Aman and Negar had to collect stars kept hidden in a dark, gloomy cave. Both performed well, but it was Aman who emerged as a winner. He collected three stars, whilst, Negar managed two and thus lost the challenge.

Negar was sad with her elimination unlike others who were happy to move out from the show. Alas, the item-babe is out, now the question is who will add oomph to the ‘jungle’.

Mika forcefully kisses Negar Khan

Mika is no stranger to forcefully kissing woman. Who can forget the infamous lip lock with drama queen Rakhi Sawant. But now the Punjabi singer had forced himself on Negar Khan on Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao. Mika could nor resist himself from forcing himself on sizzling Negar whose presence has heated up the scene in an otherwise dull and scary jungle.

Mika had been apparently making his moves on Negar right from day one. In an upcoming episode he will be seen trying to embrace the hot belle by pulling her close to him. Mika then will grab her by her waist and try to forcefully make her sit on his lap. When Negar resists Mika will plant one of his trademark kisses on her cheek.


Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao had started off with high TRP raiting but with the exit of Shweta Tiwari and bad girl Palak the show is struggling to hold onto its audience. Mika and Negar's kiss might just be another of those teasers to bring in new viewers to the show. A better idea though could be bringing in Rakhi Sawant and Elesh Parujanwala and allow them to romance in the dense Malaysian jungle.

The 10 celebrity contestants of show Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao were air dropped into the Taman Negara jungles in Malaysia one of the oldest rain forests in the world so that they remain clueless about any entry/exit routes. The desi version of international show I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here airs on Sony from tonight. The person who survives till the end, wins a cool crore.

On Thursday, the participants met each other for the first time at the Carcosa Seri Negara in Kuala Lumpur. Chandigarh women Fiza and Palak have already bonded big time.

How they will live

For the next two months, they will sleep in the open on makeshift haversacks with jungle creatures for company. They will have to cook with firewood, wash and clean in running streams and have an open-air bath or fill tubs of water to bathe in a makeshift wooden bathroom and toilet. They will only be provided rice and soya beans everyday and will have to do physically enduring tasks to win a variety of food rations. This includes a Junglee Dinner that involves sticking your head into a bowl of leeches or scorpions to gather food rations.

What they will reveal

Sooner or later, the past catches up with you. So apart from tasks and their daily chores, they will gossip the highpoint of any reality show. So will Marc Robinson talk about ex flame Preity Zinta and Akashhdeep Saigal about Farah Khan? There is also the Aman Verma and the Ruchi reporter episode. Meanwhile Shweta, Palak and Fiza have their own stories to reveal.

Voice of reason

When emotionally or physically hurt, the participants can enter the Jungle Daak Ghar to air their grievances in front of the camera which will help them overcome their situation.

Work in progress

From the past several months, the channel has been putting big bucks into the show that is produced by the format owners ITV/Silverback along with the Alva Brothers’ Miditech Productions. Though the Malaysian authorities had plans of developing the place, it gave up its plans halfway. Now the spot is a beehive of activity with makeshift production offices, over a 100 crewmembers from several countries as well as miles of cables for the several hidden cameras.

Most of the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here series have been shot in the Australia outback, this is the first time it is being shot in Malaysia. As soon as the Indian show is over, the Swedish version will also be filmed there.

PALAK: I want people to see the real me unlike what was shown in Roadies that wasn’t me.

Marc Robinson: This is alien turf for me. I had my apprehensions but I’m game for it… to add to my experiences in life.

Fiza: I was the last-minute entry to the show. Initially, I was a bit hesitant as all the rest are from the showbiz world. Hopefully, I will last for a week or so! In the past few months, I have been under the media scanner due to my ex-hubby Chand Mohammed. I wonder what will be said now!

Shweta Tiwari: People have seen me in soaps playing a character all this while, now here is a chance to see the asli Shweta. Also man survived the jungle years ago, let’s see if I can.

Chetan Hansraj: Though I have taken part in an earlier Fear Factor series and even won it, this was an opportunity to test my endurance levels again.

AkashHdeep Saigal: I have done a reality show earlier that involved dancing, now I will do a rumble in the jungle.

Aman Yatan Verma: I played several roles on television, now the audience can see Aman as he is, without mouthing any pre-written dialogues.

Mona Vasu: People tell me that I was born a junglee, so going back to it was a logical step! Moreover, I want to buy a house of my own in Mumbai and I need big bucks for it.

Anaida: Simply for the singularly unique experience I have never ever done reality shows.

Ishq Bector: I want to get into the hearts and homes of the people and what better way than through their television sets?

10 celebrity in Iss Jungle se mujhe bachao

In Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao, celebrities will be given adventurous tasks which will enable them to stay in competition. The celebrity will face deadly animals including snakes and crocodiles. The ten celebrities who will feature in Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao are: Ishq Bector, Marc Robinson, Chetan Hansraj, Akashdeep Sehgal, Shweta Tiwari, Anaida, Mona Wasu, Aman Verma, Fiza, and Palak (Gurmeet Kaur) who is known for her torrid fights with other partcipants on MTV Roadies. The line-up already promises its share of danger.

The show will be hosted by Channel V VJ Yudi and television personality Mini Mathur. The show will start on July 13 on Sony TV. Actors who are used to ordering chilled mineral water on sets and ladies who normally use room spray, will now have to contend with the wild. We hope the show proves to be really entertaining and will leave no scope for the audience to say Iss show se Mujhe Bachao.
